Baustin Shaw is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow and is an adjunct teacher working in the Special Education department, focused in English Language Arts at Ronald McNair Elementary School in Dallas, Texas. Baustin was a City Year in AmeriCorps member and worked with students in 7th grade at O.W. Holmes elementary. He graduated from Carleton College in Minnesota with a BA in Philosophy.
