Patricia Beckford is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Nevada Policy Fellow and is a 2nd grade teacher at Katz Elementary School in Clark County. She serves on the leadership committee which assists administration in making school-wide decisions. Patricia started her career as a teacher, scout leader, and leader of a girls sports program in Jamaica. She is an Americorp alum and a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. She earned her BEd in Elementary Education, an MEd in Curriculum and Instruction STEAM concentration and an MEd in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.
