Cori Belew is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Aspire Teacher Advisory Cabinet Member. Cori is a tK-5 Education Specialist at Monarch Academy in Oakland, California. With 19 years in education, Cori previously taught 2nd and 3rd grade in looping and combined grades classrooms, taught 4th and 5th graders in a combined classroom, and worked as a Dean of Instruction for a K-8 school. Cori is passionate about helping all learners learn to read and feel confident about their abilities at school. She enjoys working with teachers to support neuro-diverse learners and supporting families in providing their children with positive outcomes at school. Cori graduated from Mills College with her Multi-Subject Teaching Credential and MA in teaching. She got her Ed Specialist credential from Alliant International University.
