Kyle Bender is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Senior Policy Fellow. He is a preK teacher at Tiny Tots Child Development Center in Rochester, Pennsylvania, focusing on teaching children social-emotional skills and foundational academics, while encouraging learning through play. Kyle began teaching at Tiny Tots in 2019 as a child care aide and has since taught in a Pre-K Counts classroom. He received the Leadership in Education award from Carlow University. Kyle was a Teach Plus Policy Fellow (2023-2024) and has an associate’s degree in business management from the Community College of Beaver County, a Child Development Association (CDA) from Edinboro University, and is currently working toward a BA in early childhood education for a preK to 4 certification.
