Nicole Brabson is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Michigan Policy Fellow and 9th-grade U.S. history teacher, debate coach, and lead social studies teacher at Mumford High School in Detroit. She engages students in simulations, including Socratic discourse, congressional committees, mock trials, and debates on local and national laws, constitutional concepts, and pertinent adolescent issues. Nicole earned her BA in social studies with a minor in history from Eastern Michigan University.
