Jocelynne Braddock is a 2023-2024 Michigan Teacher Leadership Collaborative Member and a jobs specialist and career and college preparation teacher for 9th-12th grade for the Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates program at Hartford High School and Hartford Alternative in Hartford, Michigan. She has previously taught as an English teacher in several different roles, including freshman reading strategies, ELA 9-12, and English instructor for college freshman at Western Michigan University. Jocelynne was the recipient of the National High Performer award from Jobs for America’s Graduates 2022; Michigan Teacher of the Year Nominee 2021; and received the National Award for Outstanding Specialist of the Year from Jobs for America’s Graduates 2020. She earned her BA in English education from Western Michigan University, and is currently pursuing her MA in literacy studies from the same institution.
