Seth Brady is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellow and high school social studies teacher at Naperville Central High School in Naperville, Illinois. He is the co-founder and project director of Illinois Global Scholar and serves on the Illinois Inclusive Inquiry Professional Development Steering Committee. Seth was named Illinois Teacher of the Year (2026), received the Horace Mann Award for Teaching Excellence (2024), and won the National Council for the Social Studies Religious Literacy Award (2022). He co-authored national standards for the study of religion. Seth earned a BA in philosophy and anthropology, MS in kinesiology from the University of Illinois, and MA in social science from the University of Chicago.
