Brian Bordieri is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Rhode Island Senior Fellow. Brian is an advisor at The Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center (The Met), an innovative career and technical school with a mission to educate and empower youth through relentless commitment to student-centered learning and personal growth. He began his career working in residential treatment schools serving emotionally and behaviorally disturbed students as counselor and later as program supervisor, teacher, and principal. Brian graduated his first cohort of The MET students in 2016. He serves as a coach for Big Picture Learning, providing pragmatic leadership for reforming schools and educators and has provided professional development to teachers locally and nationally. Brian earned his BA in Psychology from Rhode Island College and earned a certification at Providence College culminating as a highly qualified social studies teacher.
