Brianne Fagan is a Teach Plus Rhode Island Teaching Policy Fellow and a 10th grade chemistry teacher at Mount Pleasant High School in Providence. She came to teaching after spending three years as a tutor in a middle and high school classrooms. Brianne is certified as a secondary grades chemistry teacher 7-12. During the 2016-2017 school year, she began working within the school’s career and technical education department co-teaching the freshman-level pre-engineering course. Brianne has served as a member of the turnaround school leadership plan team through the Center for Leadership and Educational Equity for two years at Mount Pleasant. She earned her BS from Colorado School of Mines in chemical engineering, and her teaching certificate through Rhode Island College.
