Brighid Bennett teaches a range of subjects to students with special needs at Amandla Charter School in both inclusive and resource settings. Brighid also teaches a Social Emotional Learning class to all students in grades 5-8. At Amandla, Brighid serves as the Peer Leadership Coordinator and a leader of the Interventions Team, which supports’ at-risk students behavioral and functional needs. She graduated from Providence College with a BA in Elementary and Special Education and earned her MEd in Special Education, with concentrations in transition and behavior science, from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
