Brooke Ferguson is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. Brooke teaches 10th and 12th grade English at Texas High School, where she is a teacher leader on the Student Advocacy Committee and campus representative of the Texas Classroom Teachers Association. In 2015, she was one of eight Texas teachers nominated to attend the Elevating and Celebrating Effective Teaching and Teachers (ECET²) national convening. Brooke co-founded the East Texas Teachers Association and serves as its acting president. She graduated from Texas A&M University-Texarkana with a BA in English and is working toward her MA in English at A&M Texarkana.
