Hodricka Burnett is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow. She teaches high school science at Simmons High School in Hollandale, Mississippi. She focuses on being a mentor to her students and providing them with opportunities for growth and connection. Hodricka began her career through Teach for America and continued to work after her two-year commitment. She earned her BS in psychology at Mississippi State University. She also earned her MS in healthcare administration from Capella University.
