Melanie Bussiere is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus New Mexico Economic Mobility Coalition Agent and 10th Grade Family Academic Support Lead at Pecos Cyber Academy in Edgewood, New Mexico. She previously served as English language arts (ELA) department chair, AP and honors ELA instructor, yearbook adviser, and National Honor Society adviser at Tularosa High School. Melanie is a member of the New Mexico Professional Practices and Standards Commission. She earned BAs in history, political science, and journalism from Rutgers University and MA in English from Seton Hall University.
