Starr Caldwell is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and a Transition Specialist working with 18- to 21-year-old students with the Life Program for Township High School District 214 in Arlington Heights. She focuses on helping to create robust community based instruction and volunteer based community outreach opportunities for her students within the Life Program at D214. She has previously served as co-sponsor for the National Honor Society club and as a member of the African American Empowerment Leadership Committee. Starr currently is an active Board Member to Midwest Montessori Christian School in Bolingbrook, Illinois. She earned her BA in Special Education from Benedictine University, and an MEd in Educational Technology from Concordia University. She is currently enrolled in a MA in Educational Leadership Principal Program at North Park University.
