Missy Carey is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and kindergarten teacher at Biglerville Elementary School in Biglerville, Pennsylvania. Previously, she taught in Pre-K Counts classrooms and at a private preschool for eight years. Missy earned a BS in early childhood education from Messiah College and MEd in curriculum and instruction, with a specialization in the Neurodevelopmental Approach to Teaching from Plymouth State University. She is pursuing a graduate certificate in applied educational neuroscience from Butler University.
