Catherine Trinkle is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Indiana Teaching Policy Fellow. Catherine is an Instructional Coach at Avon High School, where she designs and delivers professional development for a staff of 150 teachers, works closely with at-risk students, their teachers, and their parents, and provides extensive support to new teachers. Catherine served on the Indiana Department of Education’s Item Specifications and Performance Level Descriptors teams in 2018 and represented her school at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) 2016 Annual Meeting. Catherine earned a BA in political science and geography and a Master of Library Science from Indiana University. She was awarded the Sharp and Thompson Leadership Scholarship from Ball State University, where she earned a doctorate in Education with a cognate in curriculum and education technology.
