Chase Fresneda is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellow and a high school English teacher teaching 10th and 12th grade literature and AP literature at Nemo Vista in Center Ridge. Chase is also the high school Dean of Students and Alternative Learning Coordinator for the Nemo Vista School District. His focus is on helping students understand how literature is a tool that mirrors the complexities of life, in hopes that his students can face their challenges with a sense of purpose. Chase has served as his school’s Beta Club sponsor and Parent Involvement Coordinator. Chase has earned a BA in Political Science, MA in Teaching, and is currently working towards an EdS in Leadership from the University of Central Arkansas.
