Chelsea Leach is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Rhode Island Policy Fellow. Chelsea teaches 8th grade social studies at Kickemuit Middle School in the Bristol-Warren Regional School District in RI. She has served as Best Buddies advisor, digital learning coach and team member, and workshop host. As a coach, Chelsea supported other educators in the use of technology in the classroom and worked with her school district and Middletown School District to organize and plan a cross-district digital learning day for teachers. Chelsea served as a fellow in the DownCity Design Innovative Educator 2018 cohort. She has studied in Ireland with other educators to explore Ireland’s education system and culture. Chelsea graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in History Education and a minor in Disabilities Studies.
