Leslie Cheromiah is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Texas Harmony Teacher Advisory Cabinet Member and is a high school English teacher and an Advanced Placement course teacher at Harmony School of Discovery in Houston. Leslie was named an Exemplary Teacher by TEA’s TIA designation system during the 2019-20 school year. After working for the Dean of Students at Texas State University, Leslie began her teaching career in Texas and has since taught various grade levels between seventh and 12th grade. She earned her BA in Anthropology with a minor in Museum Studies from University of Nevada, an MEd in Secondary Education from University of Phoenix, and is currently working toward her MA in English from Sam Houston State University.
