Chris Schnepp is a Teach Plus Indianapolis Change Agent. Chris teaches 6th grade math at James Whitcomb Riley Elementary School, where he is a member of the school’s positive behavior supports team and coordinates the use of technology in the building. He is also a member of Indianapolis Public Schools’ Teacher Leader Program coordinated by Teach Plus. Chris was part of a team with the Indiana Department of Education to help create action plans for turnaround schools. Prior to teaching at James Whitcomb Riley, Chris was an administrator in the Alexandria Community School Corporation (ACSC). While at ACSC, he led a turn-around effort at Alexandria Monroe Intermediate School. In a three-year period the school went from an F to an A. He is a graduate of Ball State University with a BS in Elementary Education and a MS in School Administration.
