Christopher Vian is a 2020 Teach Plus New Mexico Teaching Policy Fellow. He teaches courses in English, mythology, and computer Science at Chief Manuelito Middle School in Gallup, New Mexico. He served on the 2019-2020 Secretary’s Advisory Committee and will be the president of the New Mexico Association for the Gifted beginning in October 2020. He began teaching in Oklahoma and has taught in Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Shanghai. He has a BA in Communication from the University of Oklahoma and master’s degrees in English and Secondary Education from the University of Central Oklahoma.
