Jessica Cipicchio is a 2022-23 Illinois Distributed Leadership Fellow and high school special education teacher, teacher leader, and new teacher mentor at William Howard Taft High School in Chicago, Illinois. She focuses on teaching Language Arts to help students develop their voice and communication skills. Previously, she has held positions as a special education Case Manager, MTSS Coordinator, Academic Coach, and Department Chairperson. Jessica was named Teacher Leader Coach of the Year for Teachers Supporting Teachers in 2019-2020. Jessica has been working with Teachers Supporting Teachers first as a teacher leader and then as a coach to teacher leaders for the last 4 years. She earned a BA in Secondary Education, History Social Sciences from Illinois State University, an LBS1 endorsement from Governors State University, a MA in Curriculum and Instruction and a MA in Educational Leadership from Concordia University-Chicago.
