Justin Cohea is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus California Emergent Bilingual Change Agent. Justin is an English language development and 11th grade English teacher at Grace M. Davis High School in Modesto, California. He serves on the site leadership team, focusing on English language supports within all disciplines across campus, and assists a district instructional advisory committee to prioritize bilingual/bicultural development using the Response to Intervention model. Over the last 18 years, Justin has taught 7th to 12th grade English, including English language development, intervention, and honors courses. He earned his BA in English and secondary education teaching credential from Fresno Pacific University, and an MEd in curriculum and instruction from Grand Canyon University.
