Kelli Krebill Lechnir is a 2025 Teach Plus National Teacher Policy Cabinet member and secondary English Language Development (ELD) teacher at Tolleson Union High School District in Phoenix, Arizona. She began her teaching career in Wisconsin as a general education and multilingual educator.
In addition to her teaching role, Kelli has held leadership positions such as PLC Leadership Cadre member, PACT Department Lead, serving on the board of AZTESOL, ACCESS District Assessment Coordinator, and participating in the WI Department of Public Instruction (DPI) PLN-Advancing Linguistic Success for Diverse Learners. Recently, Kelli authored a book on practical teaching practices.
Kelli earned her BA in International Business with a minor in Spanish from Carthage College in Wisconsin, her MA in Teaching from Cardinal Stritch, and her MEd from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She maintains a Director of Instruction license in Wisconsin as well as a Principal license in both Wisconsin and Arizona.
