Kelli Krebill Lechnir is a 2025 Teach Plus National Teacher Policy Cabinet member, she is dynamic educator with a passion for empowering diverse learners. With nearly two decades of experience as both a general education and multilingual learner teacher, Kelli has dedicated her career to ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed. She has taught students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Currently teaching in Arizona, Kelli is a driving force for educational excellence.

Ms. Lechnir has held leadership positions such as PLC Leadership Cadre member, PACT Department Lead, serving on the board of AZTESOL, ACCESS District Assessment Coordinator, and participating in the WI Department of Public Instruction (DPI) PLN-Advancing Linguistic Success for Diverse Learners.

Through her firm and school district, she delivers energizing professional learning opportunities that ignite the passion of educators to empower diverse learners. A sought-after speaker throughout Arizona and nationally, Kelli’s insights are grounded in her ongoing classroom practice and research. She excels at crafting data-driven professional learning experiences that inspire teachers and school leaders. Kelli’s collaborative approach and unwavering commitment to student success have established her as a highly regarded educator and speaker in both rural and suburban districts. She is currently finalizing her first book.

Kelli earned her Bachelor’s from Carthage College in Wisconsin, her Master’s in Teaching from Cardinal Stritch, and her Master’s of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She maintains Director of Instruction licensure in Wisconsin as well as Principal licensure in both Wisconsin and Arizona. Her undergraduate degree is in International Business with a minor in Spanish.
