Rosemary Collins is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Senior Policy Fellow. Rosemary is a 3rd grade reading interventionist at Edna M. Scott Elementary School in Leland, Mississippi. She focuses on targeted small group instruction in order to fill literacy gaps with at risk learners. Rosemary’s teaching career began in the Mississippi Delta spanning grades K-3. Rosemary was a guest speaker at Aspen Ideas Festival and was featured in The New York Times as a literacy expert to discuss reading gains in Mississippi. She earned her BA and MEd in elementary education from Delta State University and her gifted education certification from University of Mississippi.
