Anna Rose Cooke is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Colorado Policy Fellow. She is a 10th grade Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education and English teacher at Harrison High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Anna Rose teaches culturally diverse populations with an emphasis on developing literacy and English acquisition for newcomers. She taught in Thailand as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer. Anna Rose began her public school teaching career as a Teach For America corps member. She earned a BA in English literature with a minor in evolutionary and ecological biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
