Kevin Cormier is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Massachusetts Senior Policy Fellow and a STEM director serving the North Middlesex Regional School District. He oversees the math, science, and technology K-12 curricula across the North Middlesex Regional School District. Kevin taught math for 15 years at Nissitissit Middle School in Pepperell, Massachusetts, and was the lead teacher for grades 7 and 8, as well as co-chair of the Equity Advisory Board. As a Teach Plus Policy Fellow alumnus, Kevin has participated in multiple research projects, including co-authoring a national study on teacher preparation programs. He recently completed a doctoral program at UMass Lowell in Math and Science Education with a focus on formative assessment.
