Melissa Culkin is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow and 1-4 grade reading teacher at George F. Kelly Elementary School in Chelsea, Massachusetts. She co-leads the school’s instructional support team. Melissa previously taught 3rd grade for 10 years and served as a mentor teacher for new educators. She earned a BA in English from Boston College, MAT in elementary education from Brandeis University, and EdS in reading and literacy from Bay Path University.
