Curtis Perdue is a Teach Plus Greater Boston Teaching Policy Fellow. He is an 8th grade ELA teacher at Excel Academy Charter School – Orients Heights in East Boston, MA, where he serves as the grade level team chair and has led schoolwide professional development. Curtis previously taught public school in Palm Beach County, where he coached varsity boys soccer and lead the team to their best record in school and titles of District and Conference Champs. Originally from Miami, FL, Curtis earned a BS in English Education from Florida State University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College.
