Dan is a high school History teacher at Boston Latin Academy in the Boston Public Schools district. He has taught English Literature, Humanities and History in BPS for six years. Dan believes that empowering his students to think, read and write like historians is not only a compelling way of studying the past, but also useful for enabling students to solve the complex problems that they face in their communities. Dan is committed to advocating for the importance of a history education and its increasing role in the twenty-first century curriculum. Dan has a B.A. from Bowdoin College and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
