Sherise Dawkins is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Colorado Policy Fellow. Sherise currently serves as a computer education Teacher at Lesher Middle School serving grades 6th-8th in Fort Collins, Colorado. She has served as a facilitator for Girls Who Code at Lesher Middle in 2022. She is a 1st grant recipient in Poudre District for Project Lead the Way Computer Science Innovator Makers. She was the School Board of Broward County Staff of Character Award 2018 Honoree and
Teacher of the Year Nominee for 2017-2018. She has also received the Excellence Award Broward CTACE Department for the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years. She has received her BS in Business from Florida Memorial University. She then went on to receive an MBA from Barry University and an EdD at Colorado State University.
