Dawn Wilkey is a Teach Plus Indianapolis Change Agent. Dawn teaches 6th grade English language arts and social studies at Eleanor Skillen Elementary School, where she also assists in coaching running club and a Girls on the Run team. As a Change Agent over the past two years, Dawn has worked to differentiate instruction and integrate the use of technology in her school. She is a part of the district’s blended learning cohort, chair of the scheduling committee, and serves on the safety committee of her school. Previously, she has served on the district Cultural Competency Committee and the school’s response to intervention team. Dawn was a top ten finalist for district teacher of the year in 2017 and received the Dr. Asa G. Hilliard Leadership Award. She graduated from Indiana University Purdue University in Indianapolis with a BS in Elementary Education.
