Salvador De La Cruz is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus California Los Angeles Emergent Bilingual Change Agent. Salvador teaches third grade and is an English language development teacher. In addition to working with his grade-level team to provide updates and tips on how to support bilingual learners, he partners with the school attendance team to facilitate a Saturday school program to help students reclaim lost academic minutes due to absences and tardies. Salvador earned his BA in urban learning and a bilingual teaching credential from California State University, Los Angeles. He also has a MEd in educational technology with a focus on e-learning and new media design.
