Martine Devine is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and K-8 English development teacher in Pittsburgh Public Schools in Pittsburgh. She teaches English and advocates for the inclusion of students whose first language is not English. Martine is also a 2024-2025 Teacher Leader with the American Federation of Teachers. Previously, she was a Yale University Teaching Fellow in 2021 and a presenter at the American Federation of Teachers TEACH Conference in 2023 and 2025. She is a National Board Certified Teacher in literacy. Martine earned a BS in hotel management from the Pennsylvania State University, a master’s in early childhood and elementary education from Duquesne University, and Reading Specialist certificate from Slippery Rock University.
