Matt DeWinde is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow, 7-8 grade humanities teacher, and advisor at Hill View Montessori Charter Public School in Haverhill, Massachusetts. He serves as the Model United Nations advisor and elective supervisor at Hill View Montessori. Matt previously served as a COVID-19 response team member and curriculum developer with the Unified School District 480 in Liberal, Kansas. He received the New Teacher of the Year award at Eisenhower Middle School (2018–2019), holds Google Educator Level 1 and Level 2 certifications, and was inducted into Phi Alpha Theta and the Golden Key International Honour Society. Matt earned a BA in social studies adolescent education and history from the State University of New York at Fredonia and MS in curriculum and instruction (instructional leadership and coaching) from Emporia State University.
