Nick DiCarolis is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow. Nick is a middle school social studies teacher as well as an Instructional Leadership Team, Safety, and Education Committee Member at Penn Hills Charter School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Nick started his career at a private American school in the United Arab Emirates where he taught social studies and was also the department chair. Nick has been a department chair, head coach for the boy’s track and field team, grade-level leader, teacher mentor, and member of the safety, education and technology committees. Nick was elected to his local school board where he is the Finance Committee Chairman, and is a member of the Education and Athletic Committees. He earned his BA in history from Westminster College. He also earned his MAT in social studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
