D’Juan Hych is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. D’Juan teaches 7th grade English language arts at YES Prep Gulfton, where he is the cultural grade level chair for 6th-8th grade students. In 2015, D’Juan founded Insanity, YES Prep Gulfton’s hip-hop dance team. He has served as course facilitator and curriculum writer for 7th grade English language arts. D’Juan received his BS in Business Marketing from Jackson State University and a MS in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University.
