Roseana Dominguez is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellow and K-5 English language learners teacher at Ranch View Elementary in Naperville, Illinois. She focuses on delivering high-quality instruction to English language learners and fostering the development of language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. She has taught in educational institutions in Brazil as well as holding a school coordinator role overseas that guided and supported fellow ESL teachers in implementing effective instructional strategies for teaching English language learners. Rose was a recipient of the WE Teachers Award. She earned her BA in Portuguese and English language and literature from Centro Universitário de Belo Horizonte and an MA in elementary education with an ESL endorsement from Lewis University.
