Donna Perrotta is a Teach Plus Rhode Island Teaching Policy Fellow and a 7th and 8th grade teacher in a core English and English literacy classroom at the Nathan Bishop Middle School in Providence. Previously a music teacher, Donna has taught English since 2004 and holds certifications in music, English, and ESL. Donna is a member of her instructional leadership team, and is passionate about implementing restorative practices at Nathan Bishop Middle School. She works with the Highlander Institute in an effort to offer new opportunities and improve outcomes for her students. Donna earned her BA in music from Rhode Island College, and her MA in ESL from Brown University.
