Dr. Felicia Rutledge is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Nevada Policy Fellow. A Buffalo, New York native ahe graduated from the Buffalo Public School System. She attended Canisius College of Buffalo receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Science in Deaf Education. In 2017, she received a Doctor of Philosophy in Education with an emphasis on Special Education Leadership. Her teaching career began as a Teacher of the Deaf/Blind and Teacher of the Deaf teaching a range of subjects in early childhood through middle/high school education and as a K-12 Project Facilitator for Multi-Tiered System of Supports supporting both in Language and Literacy and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. She continues her commitment to scholar achievement, supporting families, human talent development, and implementation of systems that are rooted in equity and liberation as Regional Coordinator for Multi-Tiered System of Supports. She is an advocate of empowerment for both scholar and adult brilliance.
