Steve Dull is a 2026 Teach Plus National Teacher Policy Cabinet Executive Cabinet Member and high school math teacher at Morton High School in Hammond, Indiana. He began his teaching career in 2003 at Cimarron-Memorial High School in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In addition to his teaching role, Steve serves as math department chair and is a member of the School City of Hammond’s Teaching and Learning League, a group of classroom teachers who create and lead professional development and open their classrooms for peer observation. He has also served on his district’s curriculum mapping team and previously taught at Gavit High School in Hammond, Indiana. Steve was a Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow and served as a mentor for the Indiana Department of Education’s Teacher Leader Bootcamp during the 2022–2023 school year. Steve also completed a certificate in Education Finance through the Edunomics Lab at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
He earned a BA in Telecommunications from Indiana University Bloomington and a BS in Secondary Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
