Durrell Burns is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow who teaches 9th grade English and Public Speaking at Harrisburg High School: John Harris Campus, in Harrisburg, PA. Durrell is a member of the CSI Steering Committee and an active member of his school SAP Team. Additionally, Durrell has served as the Project Based Learning Coordinator for his school and Vice President of the Ethnic Minority Committee which is a part of the union who focuses on the recruitment, development, and retention of minority educators. He graduated from Millersville University with a BA in English and a Minor in History, attended Cabrini University for his Teaching Certification, and is working on his Med in Educational Leadership from Lincoln University.
