Megan Dwyer is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Illinois Early Childhood Educator Policy Fellow and head preschool teacher at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Child Development Lab. She focuses on using play-based approaches in her classroom. Megan has taught at private preschools throughout the state and at therapeutic schools for children with trauma histories. She earned her BA in early childhood education from Trinity Lutheran College in Everett, Washington. She is currently working on a master’s degree in early childhood administration from National Louis University.
