Tammy Dyer is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus California Emergent Bilingual Change Agent. She is a transitional kindergarten-5th grade English Learner Teacher and Coordinator at Barrett Ranch Elementary School in Antelope, California. She has served as a team lead, site intervention team leader, Student Study Team coordinator, and English Learner Advisory Committee leader. Tammy was named California State University Fullerton’s Department of Literacy and Reading Education’s Outstanding Graduate (2017) and Barrett Ranch Elementary School’s Teacher Who Makes a Difference (2019-2020). She earned her certification in Orton Gillingham through the Institute of Multisensory Education. Tammy has a BA in liberal studies and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Sacramento and MS in education with a concentration in literacy and reading, as well as a Reading and Literacy Leadership Specialist Credential, from California State University, Fullerton. She is beginning course work toward her Administrative Services Credential from California State University, Chico.
