Virginia Easton is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Illinois Early Childhood Educator Policy Fellow and family childcare provider at 2nd Connection Family Child Care in Villa Park, Illinois. Her focus on teaching children through a play-based learning program with a Reggio Emilia approach. She has served as an Infant & Toddler Specialist, Early Head Start home visitor, and lead teacher. Virginia received a certificate in Christian Studies (2023) and Gateways Early Childhood Education’s family child care and infant toddler credential (2024). Virginia began as the Early Childhood Coordinator at Planning Your Success Chicago in 2014, where she designed and oversaw the youth summer program. She serves as intern adjunct professor, teaching courses on early childhood education. She earned her BA in early childhood education and an MEd in early childhood administration: faculty preparation from National Louis University, where she is also on track to become a doctoral candidate in strategic educational leadership.
