Edward Pena is a Teach Plus New Mexico Teaching Policy Fellow. Edward is a guidance counselor at Cobre High School, where he also serves as office aide and student aide teacher and department head for elective courses. Edward is the school’s test coordinator and assistant district test coordinator. He is a member of the NM-PED Assessment and Accountability Advisory Council, the New Mexico School Counseling Association, and the New Mexico Teacher Leader Network Ambassador Program. He graduated from Western New Mexico University with a BA in Zoology and Secondary Education and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling.
