Elizabeth Carrick is a 2020-2021 Teach Plus Illinois Early Childhood Educator Policy Fellow who teaches bilingual general education in a blended preschool classroom at Finkl Academy in Chicago Public Schools. She is a member of the CTU Early Childhood Committee. She has secured funding for enhancing student educational opportunities as a learning garden coordinator through a Big Green learning garden grant, and has participated in study groups through the Chicago Foundation for Education and Rochelle Lee Teacher Award. She served as an associate delegate for Chicago Teachers Union. Elizabeth has a BA in Psychology and Child Development from DePaul University, a MS ECE from Erikson Institute, and has a Special Education endorsement (LBS1) from National Louis University.
