Elizabeth Kleinrock is a founding elementary school teacher at Citizens of the World Charter School Silver Lake/Echo Park, where she currently teaches 2nd grade. Her teaching is strongly rooted in Constructivist and project-based learning, and she believes that all students should have the opportunity to create their own knowledge and understanding. Elizabeth’s focus in the classroom is on her students’ social and emotional development, and she is currently the chair of her school’s social and emotional curriculum committee. She earned her BA from Washington University in St. Louis, and her MEd from UCLA’s Teacher Education Program.
