Emilie Hill is in her eighth year teaching high school science classes including AP Physics, Chemistry, and Environmental Technology at John Marshall High School. This year, she is also currently serving as Lead Teacher for Marshall’s California Partnership Academy, The School for Environmental Studies. In this role, Emilie is responsible for the implementation of intervention programs that keep at-risk students not only graduating on time, but also gaining college admission. Emilie is a proud NEA GPS Network Facilitator, a Better Lesson Master Teacher for Chemistry, and a Next Generation Science Standards Facilitator for LAUSD. In her spare time, Emilie is the Head Swim Team Coach for Marshall High and raises three sons—all of whom attend LAUSD public schools. Emilie graduated from Pepperdine University with a BS in chemistry.
