Emily Leinss is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellow who teaches at Piccolo School of Excellence in Chicago Public Schools. She is a 4th – 8th grade instructional coach and provides academic intervention for students. She also serves on the instructional leadership team, coaching team, and senior leadership team. She was a Teach Plus Change Agent Teacher Leader during the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years. She holds a BA in History, a BS in Elementary Education, and an MEd in Education from the University of Minnesota.
